Shining New Light on the Value of Simulation
Introducing the new and improved 7500 square foot Regional RISE Center at Robert Morris University. This state of the facility houses 4 flexible simulation rooms, 2 simulated provider's offices, and a home health suite. The RISE Center also includes a theater style classroom along with an eight-bed clinical performance suite for skills and assessment practice. Simulation is implemented using Laerdal, Gaumard, and CAE Healthcare manikins. We also have Harvey, the cardiopulmonary patient simulator offer state of the art heart and lung sound practice opportunities. Three large debriefing rooms allow students, staff, and community members across the region to experience simulation in a comfortable environment. The RISE Center will be testing advanced simulation technology including Oculus Rift with Leap motion software in the near future. We not only welcome you to the RISE Center but also to a new chapter of groundbreaking simulation.
